School Description

Redmaids' High School is an independent School in Bristol for girls. They provide an outstanding all-round education for girls aged 7-18. With a history dating back to 1634, Redmaids' High School understands how valuable single-sex education can be in giving girls a great start in life. Supportive, inspirational staff, a progressive mind-set, excellent pastoral care and wide ranging opportunities, mean the school develops inspirational young women, who are fully equipped for whatever path they choose in life. Girls can join theJunior School from Year 3 where they will discover their strengths, address their weaknesses and become curious and active learners. The school's warm, nurturing pastoral care combined with the expectation of positive attitudes, determination and achievement, help us develop confident young girls who are not afraid of failure.

My daughter is currently in Year 9 and I cannot say enough good things about school. She is doing extremely well and has a great work ethic encouraged by the school and her peers. The school and grounds itself is beautiful, modern and well equips and the teachers work really hard to get to know your child. The school is run by a fantastic headmistress who really cares about the school and knows her children. Definitely worth every penny.

My daughter has been at Redmaids High since Year 3. She's now in Year 8 and is thriving across all areas. Academically and pastorally, I couldn't expect more. I am always amazed and how well the teachers really know my daughter, and help to get the most out of her. It's 'cool' to achieve and, as a result, she has a great work ethic, wanting to better herself all the time. Would highly recommend this school.
