“A Truly Incredible School”

St Ives school is the most incredible school that is close to the centre of Haslemere. It is set in beautiful grounds complete with its own woodland (and forest school) and the most inspiring view. The teachers at the school are amazing and the class rooms are truly the differentiating factor about St Ives. They are havens for learning - they are just such positive environments that bring out the very best in everyone. The teachers understand each girl individually and know exactly how they need to help and encourage everyone so that they succeed in all areas. At St Ives academics are incredibly important but equally important are sport, music, drama, art, languages, social skills and life skills. My daughter has blossomed under the amazing care of the teachers - through positivity and kindness they have bolstered her confidence and this has enabled her to truly excel. All the girls love coming to school and with good reason - St Ives explodes with activities and fun and this develops girls that love to learn and succeed. St Ives truly has its own magic - it really is a very special school.
“Excellent – 5 stars”

I would highly recommend St Ives School to anyone looking for a happy, caring, nurturing environment in the Haslemere area. My 2 daughters attend the pre-prep part of the school and they are very much enjoying every fun packed day of learning and activities. The amazing staff have helped them both to grow not just academically but also in confidence, social skills and life skills. The school has a very special setting – just a few minutes from Haslemere high street but also set just on the edge of an incredible forest which the school uses to its full potential. My daughters love forest school and they come home full of facts about the environment, having spent a healthy afternoon outdoors. The school has an excellent track record of getting girls into their first choice of senior schools and I feel very confident that this is taken care of by the experienced staff at the school. St Ives runs a varied programme of clubs and my daughters have been able to try a range of different activities after school, which they have loved. Finally, for those working parents amongst us, the ‘early birds’ and after school care sessions are invaluable to solve any potential childcare issues outside of standard school hours.
“My daughter couldn't be happier!!”

My daughter joined St Ives last September entering into Reception Class at a very young 4 years old. During her first year she has gone from strength to strength emotionally and most importantly in her learning thanks to the outstanding tailor made teaching she and every girl in her class receive on a daily basis. Her appetite to learn has also increased ten fold thanks to her wonderful teachers who nurture and encourage her. The pre prep facilities and clubs on offer have also opened her eyes to a whole new world. She has made many wonderful new friends and truly loves every single day at school. The girls throughout the entire school are all extremely polite, courteous and helpful. The school's recent ISI "Excellent" rating is very well deserved. St Ives is an absolute gem of a school and I really couldn't recommend it highly enough to any new parent considering a single sex pre and prep school education.
“Fantastic school – highly recommend it!”

Our daughter started in nursery at St. Ives in 2012 and has never looked back. She's now in Year 2 and thriving. The school is set in beautiful surroundings, the teachers are caring, passionate, nurturing and truly 'interested' in each and every child. I've heard the school referred to as "a hidden gem" and that is truly what it is. As a family we really do feel like we're part of something special. It's amazing to see the girls grow and develop into confident, energised young ladies developing their own identities and beliefs as they progress through the years ready for secondary school. Visit St Ives, meet some of the girls and I guarantee you'll be hooked!
“"Fantastic!"”

I have two daughters at St Ives and they could not be happier! There is amazing camaraderie and support between the girls and, in fact, the whole school community. The environment is warm and welcoming, with an open door policy for parents. Not only are the girls' academic achievements fantastic (due to great, individually-tailored teaching and, in the upper years, real support towards senior school entrance exams) but their all round social and emotional education is second to none. The school thoroughly deserves its "Excellent" ISI accreditation and is a really unique find amongst a wealth of independent school options in the area.
“Love this school!”

My daughter has been attending this school since 2009 and with year 6 now in sight I'm starting to feel sad that we will have to move on. She has loved every day she has been here and has always skipped into school and never wants to leave at the end of the day. She has received a first rate education and the preparation for secondary school is beginning to take shape. The school has always gained places at 100% first choice secondary schools including Guildford High School, St Catherines, Tormead, Churchers College, Priorsfield.
