The school meets the government’s current floor standards, which set the minimum expectations for pupils’ attainment and progress in English and mathematics. Since the previous inspection, there have been significant changes in staffing, including the appointment of a new headteacher and deputy headteacher. Specialist resource provision which meet the needs of disabled pupils and those with special educational needs from across the local authority is located within the school. The resource provides for 13 pupils with specific speech and language difficulties.
