“If you are looking at Primary School, I would highly recommend”

Our son is coming up to the end of his 1st Year at Ashbrooke House Primary School and we are so pleased we wanted to share our experience with others. When looking for primary schools, we decided that having small classes was important to us so that our son could have a bespoke education pushing his strengths and addressing his weaknesses. Unfortunately in a standard primary class of 30, this can be very difficult for the teacher to achieve in our opinion. Our main concern was the cost. We were however paying nursery fees at the time and found Ashbrooke would actually be a similar cost per month. The school itself is quite small which was a concern but this was misplaced as they do so much outside of the school and make use of what they have very well. The head teacher very much impressed us with her educational ethos, the fact she is sporty and promoted competition. The school children we met were also so well spoken, polite and well presented making our decision easy. The children at the school come from a multitude of backgrounds so its not a school for rich parents only. The common theme is the parents wanted to get the best education for their child and therefore were willing to sacrifice to pay for it. In our case this was putting off buying a new car. Our son is now in a class of 10 and we are really pleased with our choice as he is developing amazingly. He is encouraged to develop his skills in a bespoke manner, and we can already see his maths, creativity and vocabulary exceeding our expectations. If you are looking at primary schools in this area, I would highly recommend.
