Copperworks Infant and Nursery School is in the town of Llanelli in the Carmarthenshire local authority. There are 141 pupils on roll between the ages of three and seven, including 45 pupils who attend nursery classes. The school has five classes. It employs seven full-time teachers including the headteacher. Currently, 40% of pupils are entitled to free school meals, which is well above the average for the local authority and Wales.
