Independent preparatory schools do not have to follow the National Curriculum
or submit test results to the Department for Education so there is no individual
school performance data or star rating.
Visit the school's website to learn more about their unique curriculum,
policies on testing and common leaver
destinations (a good indicator of pupil progress).

Choosing A Prep School.
Pupils receive a high-quality education. Leaders and teachers are very ambitious for what pupils can achieve. Pupils strive to meet the high expectations that leaders set. Leaders and staff provide strong support for pupils. They think carefully about how to support pupils’ academic and personal development through the curriculum. Educational visits and extra-curricular clubs are a key feature of the school’s work. Clubs organised by parents, carers and leaders include science, tennis, debating and chess. Leaders give reading high priority. The school’s French and English libraries have extensive collections of books. Pupils enjoy borrowing books from both collections. Pupils read stories together outside at breaktime sitting on cushions. Leaders make sure pupil welfare and safety are prioritised. Pupils are safe and happy. Pupils behave exceptionally well. They are self-disciplined and responsible when moving around the school and highly motivated in class. Teachers foster respectful, nurturing relationships with pupils. Pupils trust and are confident that school staff care about their well-being. Staff sort out any problems, including bullying, should they arise.
“A little gem in the London market of international independent schools!”
17 May 2018AUTHOR: JP Parent
This is a fabulous school, which was rated as "outstanding" by Ofsted in 2011 and 2018 in all categories.
It's a relatively small school with only 2 classes per year group, and about 20-24 pupils per class, which provides a caring friendly environment, in which children flourish.
It's a French school located in Central / West London, in a lovely residential area (postcode W6 7BE).
It teaches the French curriculum, but a large proportion of pupils there are bi-national, with many different international backgrounds. The school has recently overhauled its English department and the English curriculum, which is taught on top of the French one, is ambitious, with some pupils successfully applying to leading 11+ independent schools when they leave Jacques Prevert.
The school's fees are the most affordable of all independent French schools in London, with c. £2000/term - exceptional value for money for parents interested in an international education for their children.
Finally, the school prides itself in its large choice of extra-curricular activities available, from judo, handball, rugby, football to Zumba, chess, computing, cooking etc.

This school is independently managed and its admission criteria may be selective. There is no set catchment area as pupils are admitted from a wide variety of postcodes and, in the case of boarding schools, from outside the UK. Contact the school directly or visit their website for more information on Admissions Policy and Procedures.
2015 GCSE RESULTSImportant information for parents
Due to number of reforms to GSCE reporting introduced by the government in 2014, such as the exclusion of iGCSE examination results, the official school performance data may not accurately report a school’s full results. For more information, please see About and refer to the section, ‘Why does a school show 0% on its GSCE data dial? In many affected cases, the Average Point Score will also display LOW SCORE as points for iGCSEs and resits are not included.
Schools can upload their full GCSE results by registering for a School Noticeboard. All school results data will be verified.
