English Martyrs’ Roman Catholic Primary is larger than the average sized primary school. The proportion of pupils known to be eligible for the pupil premium is higher than the national average. The school meets the government’s current floor standards which sets the minimum expectations for pupils’ attainment and progress. The school has gained the Healthy School status and Eco School award. The proportion of pupils who speak English as an additional language is similar to that found nationally, as is the proportion from minority ethnic groups.
