There are 10 single-age classes and three mixed-aged classes, taught by 13 full-time teachers and one part-time teacher. The average proportion of pupils eligible for free school meals over the last three years is around 15%, which is below the national average of 19%. The school identifies about 16% of pupils as having additional learning needs, but very few have a statement of special educational needs. They participate very enthusiastically in their learning, express their ideas clearly and discuss their work confidently to visitors.
