Herington House School is an independent day school for boys and girls aged three to 11 years. The proprietor is a family-owned, limited company. The school principal is the company’s major shareholder. The school has been owned and run by the same family since 1972. It was founded in 1936. The school does not have a governing body. The school’s previous standard inspections were in January 2010 and June 2016.
