School Description

Lepton Junior, Infant and Nursery school is a smaller than average-sized primary school. The early years consists of one class of children in the Reception year and one Nursery class, where children attend part-time. The proportion of disadvantaged pupils eligible for the pupil premium is below national average. The proportion of disabled pupils and those who have special educational needs is below the national average. The proportion of pupils who are from minority ethnic groups or who speak English as an additional language is lower than average. In 2015, the school met the government’s floor standards, which set the minimum expectations for pupils’ attainment and progress. The current headteacher took up his post during the time since the previous inspection.
