Llansawel County Primary School is in the town of Britton Ferry in the Neath Port Talbot local authority. At the time of the inspection, there were 82 pupils on roll, taught in four classes. This includes nine pupils who attend the nursery part-time. Around 42% of pupils are eligible for free school meals. This is well above the national average of 21%.
