School Description

Magdalen Court School is a co-educational, non-selective day school registered for 250 pupils aged between five and 18 years of age. Over half of the pupils on the school’s roll have an EHC plan and are placed through Devon local authority. The school’s previous standard inspection was in November 2017. At this time, it was deemed to be inadequate. A subsequent progress monitoring inspection (PMI) in November 2018 continued to find some unmet standards. The Department for Education (DfE) served a notice to improve to the proprietor in February 2018.
