The school is much larger than an average-sized primary school. Since the last inspection, the school has moved to a new building and there has been a significant increase in the number of pupils attending the school. Since the last inspection, there have been significant changes in leadership and teaching staff. The vast majority of staff were not in their current posts at the last inspection. The proportion of pupils who speak English as an additional language and the proportion of pupils from minority ethnic backgrounds are much higher than the national average. The proportion of pupils who have SEN and/or disabilities is below average. The proportion of disadvantaged pupils, who are known to be eligible for support through the pupil premium funding, is above average.
