This is a larger than average-sized primary school in which almost all pupils are White British. An average proportion of pupils is supported by the pupil premium. The pupil premium is additional funding for pupils known to be eligible for free school meals and those who are looked after by the local authority. The proportion of disabled pupils and those with special educational needs is below average. The school meets current floor standards, which are the minimum expectations set by the government for pupils’ attainment and progress in English and mathematics at the end of Year 6. The headteacher is a Local Leader of Education and, as such, supports other local schools. Before- and after-school care is available on site.
