“Well worth a visit you won’t regret it.”

"> My son attended here after being on the verge of a school refuser. They built up his confidence and made him believe in himself again. The staff are understanding, caring and supportive and the small class sizes and the additional support provided meant that he was able to achieve his full potential. I would highly recommend the school and well worth a visit to see what they can offer your son.
“Confidence and success”

unlock
"> Small classes, dedicated teachers and a willingness to believe in success have meant my son has grown in confidence and been able to achieve more than we'd ever imagined. Wish we'd have sent him there sooner.
“Not perfect, but nearly”

unlock
"> Friendly, happy, professional and willing to listen. No school can get things right 100% of the time. But I cannot fault the way this school really tries to help in any way its asked.
“Happy child, happy parent”

unlock
"> My son just loves it at Slindon. He is thriving doing A level sciences and art. I couldn't be happier. He is a full time boarder (I live overseas) and the boarding staff are wonderful. Thank you.
“A truly happy grandson”

unlock
"> This wonderful little school has changed my grandson's life. His self-esteem was at rock bottom after being made to feel like a failure. The staff at Slindon have made him feel that he can achieve anything he wants to. He's gone from not caring about anything, to wanting to be an engineer and it looks like he'll be getting the grades to make it. Thank you all.
“Will always go the extra mile”

"> After struggling with our son going in and out of many different schools. In his last years of high school we were relieved to find Slindon College. It is a stunning building without a doubt! But it is the character of the place that makes it what it is. All the staff were friendly and very understanding. We felt welcome as a family and our son seemed to feel comfortable aswell! Which for worrying parents was a big relief. After being told throughout our son's education that he was not going to achieve passing grades; with the help of the staff our son went off to university this September. We know that this couldn't of been done without Slindon. He has grown into a educated, confident and independent man! Thank you. We only wish we had found you sooner.
“A bad experience”

unlock
"> I couldn't agree more with the other review. What was sold to me is not the school we experienced. Please, as the previous reviewer has said, speak to other parents. When we found our son was struggling, we approached the school and the showed little understanding of ASD. We found the experience damaging, both for our son and us as a family. From our experience, and talking to other parents, the reality is very different from what is promised. Ask the questions; ask again.
“Very disappointing”

unlock
"> When viewing the school we were impressed by the beautiful school grounds and feeling of space which we thought would be ideal for our son who has high functioning Asperger's Syndrome. We also liked that there were animals on site and the admissions secretary gave us the impression that the school was caring and understanding of ASD. We couldn't have been more wrong and I now have to live with the guilt that I put my son through a very difficult year whilst attending this school. My son lost all confidence whilst at the school. Supervision at break times was non existent and it was during these times that most of the issues seemed to occur. Please, before considering this school, make sure you speak to parents of boys currently there and to the many who have removed their children.
