This is a smaller-than-average, single-form-entry primary school in an urban setting. The majority of pupils come from White British families. The proportion of pupils known to be eligible for free school meals is substantially lower than average. The proportion of pupils identified for special help at the level known as school action is slightly below average, whereas the proportion of pupils with a statement of special educational needs and those at school action plus is just above average. The proportion of pupils eligible for the pupil premium is below average. The school meets the government’s current floor standards, which set the minimum expectations for pupils’ attainment and progress. A new Chair of the Governing Body has been appointed and some new members have joined. There has been almost a complete change of form teacher personnel since the last inspection. The school has joined the ECM Cluster (Esher, Cobham and Molesey).
