St Christopher's School Parent Reviews

Average Parent Rating

“Old-fashioned academic environment”

My daughter, who is now 14, has attended St Christopher's since year 1 and has done well academically, but has always felt immense pressure to perform, which has taken a toll on her mental health. The school does well academically but is ill-equipped in supporting different learners. It lacks in diversity and open-mindedness and its curriculum does not prepare children for life. If you want your child to grow up in an old-fashioned, strict academic environment where sports is appreciated over creativity, this is your pick. With the new head things could be starting to change, but it will take a long time. As part of the Brighton College, the main focus will always be on achievements, not on overall wellbeing.
