ADMISSIONS & VISITING OUR SCHOOL

The usual points of entry to St. Edmund’s are at Nursery, Reception, Form 3 (7+), Form 7 (11+) and Form 9 (13+). Children may also join us for other year groups subject to the availability of places and satisfactory completion of our admissions/assessment process.

Parents are encouraged to visit St. Edmund’s on an individual basis during the week to view the school with the Registrar and to meet with the Headmaster. These visits are designed to help parents discover if the school is a good fit for their child.

Each term the school holds an Open Morning on a Saturday for prospective parents, children, grandparents and friends to visit. The older pupils act as tour guides and senior members of staff are available to answer questions. During the morning the Headmaster gives a short address and is on hand to talk to parents informally. Attendance at an Open Morning is often helpful for a “first look” at the school or an opportunity for a return visit with family after an individual appointment and tour.

To arrange a visit please contact our Registrar, Georgina Sexton.
