Our heat maps use groups of postcodes, not individual postcodes, and have naturally soft edges. All pupils are included in the mapping (i.e. children with siblings already at the school, high priority pupils and selective and/or religious admissions) but we may have removed statistical ‘outliers’ with more remote postcodes that do not reflect majority admissions.

The school is a welcoming community that provides a stimulating environment for its pupils. Many pupils have positive attitudes to learning and speak with enthusiasm about the experiences the school provides. Many pupils make good progress from their starting points and develop a broad range of skills successfully as they move through the school. Staff have positive working relationships with pupils and support them well. Many teachers deliver lessons and plan learning experiences that engage and motivate pupils well. The school’s systems for tracking and monitoring pupils’ progress are effective and help to ensure that pupils make good progress over time. The school’s provision for wellbeing is strong and provides sensitive support for vulnerable pupils. The headteacher and acting headteacher provide strong leadership and the staff work within a clear set of values and aims. Many staff have taken up their posts in the current school year and have begun to work as an effective team to maintain the good standard o provision for pupils.
