School Description

The school is larger than the average-sized primary school. Pupils come from a range of ethnic groups, the largest of which is White British. The proportion of disabled pupils and those with special educational needs supported at school action, school action plus or with a statement of special educational needs is below average. An average proportion of pupils speak English as an additional language. The proportion of pupils known to be eligible for support through the pupil premium funding, additional funding provided by the government, is below average. The school meets the government’s current floor targets, which set the minimum expectations for pupils’ attainment and progress. The school provides a breakfast and after-school club each weekday. There is no alternative provision at the school. There is a nursery and a children’s centre on site which are not managed directly by the governing body and are subject to a separate inspection.
