School Description

The Farringdon School was established in 2007 as an independent day school. The school offers specialist provision for up to 22 boys and girls, aged 9–18 years. All pupils have social, emotional or behavioural difficulties. In particular, the school caters for pupils who have experienced significant trauma and, as a result, are not able to maintain a place in a mainstream school. Pupils are referred, usually by a local authority, and they join at any time throughout the year. Pupils attend the school for varying time, depending on the agreement with the local authority.
