School Description

The Warriner School is a larger-than-average 11 to 18 secondary school. The proportion of students known to be eligible for free school meals and therefore eligible for pupil premium funding is lower than the national average. The proportion of students from minority ethnic groups is lower than the national average. The proportion of students whose first language is not believed to be English is also lower than the national average. The proportion of disabled students and those who have special educational needs is slightly higher than the national average. A small number of students receive off-site alternative provision for an automotive course at Bicester College. The school has specially resourced provision for students with special educational needs, funded and run by the local authority. This supports students with an autistic spectrum disorder. The school meets the government’s current threshold standards, which set the minimum expectations for students’ attainment and progress.
