This helps most pupils to make good progress from their starting points during their time at the school. Staff track their progress carefully to ensure that the school meets their needs effectively. Most pupils know how to improve their work and they engage well with the range of tasks and extra-curricular activities that the school offers. Most grow in confidence and develop positive attitudes towards their learning, taking great pride in their work and their school. However, attendance rates are not as high as they could be. Leaders encourage staff to share their practice and to work together effectively and in innovative ways to maintain high standards. The school offers beneficial support and guidance to parents and encourages them to support their child’s learning.
