The ethos of NST is to provide high quality, individualised tuition to enable students of all ages and capabilities to reach their potential. The concern of the tutor is always to meet the needs of the individual student in a way that best suits that student.
Anthea is an enthusiastic and committed teacher with more than 40 years experience of teaching science from Key Stage 3 to A level. She also tutors EAL, adult literacy and advises on UCAS applications. Anthea is a fully qualified Life Coach and this training and experience enables her to be particularly empathetic and patient in listening and in encouraging children and young people to flourish.
Our reputation is founded on personal recommendation and years of excellent working relationships with local schools, parents and students.
All our tutors, individually selected for their qualifications and experience provide one-to-one tuition to meet students' needs.
We use the best available teaching tools. They are interactive, engaging and map to the National Curriculum and Curriculum for Excellence. As a child's mastery of each lesson develops, the work adapts to an increasingly advanced level, thereby providing each member with a highly individualised experience.
